This original hand carved wood wall sculpture is one of the latest artworks of the skilful Bulgarian contemporary sculptor Nikolay Martinov, deeply inspired by geometry, minimalism and op art. Blue is the nature’s color for water and sky. Today, blue is embraced as the color of heaven and authority, denim jeans and corporate logos. It is cold, wet, and slow as compared to red’s warmth, fire, and intensity. The artist's concept with this combination of colors is to open up a relaxing and calming effect onto the viewer and trigger his/her inner spiritual vitality.
