Art Exhibition – metal sculpture and wall relief

The exhibition presents the new works by the artist Stevlin Yovchev. The artworks are created especially for the event, and each one reveals different whimsical natural forms, specific figurative details, moments in life and dynamics of interactions between each other, spontaneous relationship qualities, multiple layering, bright gestural expressions, but at this time - pure naturalness and organic non-figurative abstractness. Each sculpture and wall relief are made of steel by bending, heating, welding, grinding, oxidizing and final polishing.   

“Attraction and repulsion of metals is explained by the physics, but it works like magic on us, arranging the particles into bizarre new shapes. These properties are actually the basis of existence and of our wholeness. Attraction is the force that determines our spiritual and physical state. In my works I have followed the imaginary lines of magnetism and material energy to create the various structures, guided by my understanding of the universe and its secret laws of attraction.”     by the artist
