This original set of two hand carved wood wall sculptures is one of the latest artworks of the skilful Bulgarian contemporary sculptor Nikolay Martinov, deeply inspired by geometry, minimalism and op art. It is one extraordinary wood masterpiece and exquisite home wall decor.
Pink is a pale tint of red. It is the color most often associated with charm, politeness, sensitivity, tenderness, sweetness, childhood, femininity and romance. The combination of pink and beige is associated with chastity and innocence. The artist's concept with this combination of colors is to open up a light and purifying effect onto the viewer and trigger his/her inner humility and calmness.
Blue is the nature’s color for water and sky. Today, blue is embraced as the color of heaven and authority, denim jeans and corporate logos. It is cold, wet, and slow as compared to red’s warmth, fire, and intensity. The artist's concept with this combination of colors is to open up a relaxing and calming effect onto the viewer and trigger his/her inner spiritual vitality.
